Steel Dragon 2000
Steel Dragon 2000 is the park’s most famous attraction and the longest roller coaster in the world, measuring over two kilometers in length.
This gigantic roller coaster ride takes you on a thrilling journey through the park and offers stunning views of the surrounding area.
The ride lasts for over four minutes, and you’ll reach speeds of up to 153 kilometers per hour.
It does not go upside down and often closes on windy days so if it is open, take the opportunity to ride it.
Arashi
Arashi is another popular ride at Nagashima Spa Land and is known as one of the world’s most terrifying free-spin coasters.
This ride takes you on a wild spin, with the coaster cars rotating as they move along the track.
You’ll reach speeds of up to 70 kilometers per hour and experience some intense G-forces during the ride.
Hakugei – The best Roller coaster
Hakugei is a newer addition to the park and is already a fan favorite.
It means white whale as that’s what it resembles apparently.
This hybrid coaster combines elements of a wooden and steel coaster, offering a unique and thrilling experience.

It has 3 inversions and is 55 meters high.
Ferris Wheel

Lockers and Keeping Your Valuables Safe
Both the amusement park and water park have free lockers at each attraction.
Many of the faster rides ask you to remove glasses, hats, coins etc. so these lockers mean you can store your valuables safely when riding, and get them back at the end.
The lockers are often found as you line up so there is no worry about losing your place.
The Water Park Lockers
If you need a place to store your belongings while you enjoy the water park, lockers are available for rent.
After entering the water park, there is a huge changing area on the right with a ton of lockers.
These cost 700 yen and you must have 7 x 100 yen coins.
You’ll get a key and come back at the end of your day.
Further inside the water park, they have smaller lockers for 400 yen if preferred
They come in different sizes, so you can choose the one that best fits your needs.
Note: The water park is only open July through September.

Yuami no Shima are daytime hot springs or indoor baths you can use to relax.
You can get there on the way from the car park to the amusement park ticket gate.
This is not to be confused with Nagashima Onsen which is a 15-minute bus ride from Nabana no Sato (costs 460 yen).

Mitsui Outlet Park Jazz Dream Nagashima
The Outlet Mall at Nagashima Spa Land is a popular shopping destination for both locals and tourists alike.
It features over 200 stores, including high-end fashion brands, sportswear, cosmetics, and home goods.
You can find everything from designer handbags to athletic shoes at discounted prices.
There are also plenty of places to grab a bite to eat or drink inside.
The Outlet Mall is located just a short walk from the Nagashima Spa Land amusement park, making it a convenient stop for a shopping break during your day at the park.

Transportation and Access
If you’re planning a visit, you have several options for getting there, including by car, bus, and train. Here’s what you need to know about each option.
Getting there by car
If you’re driving to Nagashima Spa Land, the park is located just off the Higashi-Meihan Expressway.
The park has plenty of parking available, with both regular and large vehicle parking areas.
Note that parking fees apply.
For normal cars, the cost is 1000 yen for the day.
Getting there by bus
If you’re coming by bus, the Meitetsu Bus Center in Nagoya is the main hub for buses to Nagashima Spa Land.
Buses run regularly throughout the day, and the journey takes around 45 minutes.
You can also catch a bus from Kuwana Station, which takes around 30 minutes.
Getting there by train
If you’re coming by train, the closest station to Nagashima Spa Land is Nagashima Station on the Kintetsu Nagoya Line.
From there, you can catch a shuttle bus to the park, which takes around 5 minutes.
Alternatively, you can catch a bus from Kuwana Station, which takes around 30 minutes.
