It also holds the title of the second-tallest building in Japan.
Osaka Castle
This is one of the city’s top attractions and one of Japan’s largest castles.

The park around Osaka Castle and the castle itself are a stunning mix of natural beauty and historical importance.
The castle was built in the late 1600s but has been repaired and updated many times since then.
Today, it stands as a symbol of Osaka’s long history and cultural heritage.

Outside, Osaka Castle Park covers over 50 hectares and has lots of green space, quiet ponds, and well-kept gardens.
If you want to go during cherry blossom season, then it’s beautiful, but the crowds are intense.
